In this house, we fitted Unfinished Rustic Oak flooring to both the dining room and living room. We also made two custom door threshold bars out of solid oak to allow for a smooth transition in the doorways from one floor surface to another.
Once fitted we applied filler where necessary and then lightly sanded to 120 grit to remove any imperfections in the boards. We then applied two coats of Hardwax oil.
