In this house we fitted four rooms with unfinished square edge character oak flooring. The customer wanted the floor to flow seamlessly through three rooms in the first part of the house. We had to apply floor screed throughout the four rooms, and once the flooring was fitted we carried out a light sand to remove any lips in-between the floorboards and filler where necessary. We then applied two coats of hardwax oil throughout. In the three adjoining rooms we fitted new MDF skirting board and in the conservatory we fitted solid oak skirting, finished to match the floor. We also cut in and supplied an entrance mat well.
